Lovers & Fighters is a creative and Production studio founded by director Erik Van Wyk.

The studio specialises in high-end, conceptually wired visual storytelling created with unashamed levels of craft. Erik Van Wyk is a multi-award-winning international director of commercials and branded entertainment, known for elegantly designed conceptual films that balance pure entertainment with the driving idea of the script.

Before founding Lovers & Fighters, Erik built his career, firstly as an agency creative, a background that shapes everything he makes. And secondly as a director, whose instincts to align concept with cinematic execution has taken him across the world, directing for agencies like Wieden+Kennedy, BBH, and Martin, and for brands including Porsche, Honda, Southwest Airlines, Coca-Cola, and IKEA.

The name Lovers & Fighters is inspired by the act of balancing passion and tenderness with strength and resilience.
